What’s good! My name is Hassan Edwards, and I am a born and raised-Baltimore photographer. My journey began in 2021 as I was confused about what my purpose was and didn’t have an established passion. By this time I had a camera for about a year but I never really put it to use or took it seriously. In July 2021, one of my friends had an event and he asked me if I could shoot the event I did it and it went great. From that point, I began to take creating seriously. I began shooting a lot of highschool sports, and that’s where I began growing my love for what I call my ultimate passion today.
I am passionate about what I do because creating gives me the freedom to combine two things I love at any given moment. I love sports, traveling, bonding, and photography allows me to freeze time and memories for a life time. And it gives me the freedom to tell the story I want in any moment.
I have been a storyteller way before I even picked up a camera. In 2018 I began editing sports highlight videos from clips I’d get from YouTube. My first ever video was an Avengers Infinity War trailer styled Ravens hype video. I received a lot of support from that video on Twitter and YouTube. I continued editing for a few years while I was in high school and it eventually led to me wanting my own camera.
My favorite part about doing what I do best is the experiences and places it takes me. You never know what you can see, who you can meet, or how far the camera can take you in this world.
I have curated with @RashodBateman, @TorreySmithWR, and #LilBoosie in the past and I want to curate with @TravisScott, @MetroBoomin, and @KingJames 📸
