Yooo, I'm Breed, Born in Washington DC. I've been a film photographer since 2020; I've always loved the timelessness and overall mood that film presents to the eye. What attracts me the most is the natural tones and texture of film. There's nothing like it. Photography can be so impactful when you're intentional, and I strive to create art that makes people feel. This chapter of my photography started with me simply wanting to tell a story from my point of view. My inspiration stems from the ones that have come before me, and I aspire to continue to motivate and lead by example in the city. I've been a storyteller all of my life, and I chose to tell stories through Directing and Photography in 2018.
My favorite part about creating is the process in which a certian project takes and seeing it come to life. When you start with a blank canvas and finish with something you're proud of.
I'm passionate about what I do because art evokes human emotions. Grabbing someone's attention and making them feel is a feeling I can't explain.
I have curated with @MrMiyashi, @DirByIlla, and @Carpio.jpeg, and I'm not sure who I want to curate with in the future, but anyone who shares similarities in regards to how I view this craft I'm sure I'll end up working with them when everything aligns. 📸
