Hey! My name is Shaughn Cooper, and I am a Maryland-born self-taught photographer. Since 2011 I've been a storyteller. My portfolio ranges from concert and wedding photography to product photography and plenty more; some of my favorite things to shoot are portraits, special events, and tours (I currently have shot 8). Recently, I have been putting my energy into mentoring a few photographers in the DMV area to get them to the next level. Also, recently I announced my third annual scholarship in honor of my late mother, #TonyaCooper, in hopes of taking two photographers on their first humanitarian trip to Nairobi in August. 

I am passionate about what I do because every moment I have as a creator can inspire the next generation of creators coming after me.

My favorite part about doing what I do is seeing the joy and experiencing the anticipation when I document my subjects.
