What's up, I'm Justin Frazier, a Visual Artist from Chicago. I'm active in the spaces of Creative Direction and Fine Art (where I utilize braille to speak from my perspective). This career wasn't originally my plan, but I'm grateful that it worked out this way. Early on, my journey in music began as a drummer, driven by a desire to tour. I accomplished that and more; additionally, I grasped the nuances of emotion and storytelling. These were foundational things that became crucial in my transition to the visual arts. Understanding the broader narrative helps me craft stories with depth and relatability, regardless of the medium. Thankfully, my skill set enables me to adapt to various projects like a Swiss Army knife. I love making the work feel a bit supernatural because of its depth. I always want to make you feel something. The right feeling could lead to timeless memories.
There's a lot of passion within what I do because of how I see it. It's clear that this is my assignment, and I was given tools/supplies specifically with my name on them. That excites me. I'm always curious about the possibilities with what I have, and I also want to excel in every assignment and see what the next level looks like.
Storytelling has been a part of me since I was a teenager playing drums. I had to learn how to speak even through my instrument. That skill just transferred over into the visual space.
My favorite part about doing what I do is being able to view it over and over, as if I've never seen it before. I'm amazed at what I did.
I've curated for @Nike, Stevie Wonder, & @Latto, and I'd love to curate with @Pharrell & @Prada. 📸
