Hey guys, I'm Zee 👋🏽 A portrait and lifestyle photographer based in NYC.

My passion comes from wanting others to feel seen and being a vessel for helping people see themselves. Before I considered myself a photographer, I knew I enjoyed taking photos, but seeing how people reacted after they saw the photos I took for them grew a passion in me I didn't even know I was capable of. I realized it's deeper than taking pictures; it's helping people feel.

My storytelling journey started when I started traveling more in my adulthood. One of my close friends invited me to New Orleans in 2016. From then on, I realized I enjoyed traveling and meeting new people, being immersed in different cultures, and capturing exciting things. Traveling was my original reason for buying a camera in 2019, and I keep evolving.

My favorite part about shooting portraits is helping people feel, whether the subject feeling empowered or someone looking at the portrait feeling joy or inspiration. I think portraits uniquely connect people, and I feel blessed to be a part of that experience.
