Hey everyone…I’m Boluwatife Oguns, but most people call me Tife. Born in Lagos, Nigeria. My journey began at age 11 during a summer entrepreneurship program. We had to pick a skill, and I chose photography; not because I knew what I was doing, but because something about holding a camera just clicked (pun intended). That small moment planted a seed that never stopped growing. Between then and 2018, school took most of my time, and I had to step away from the camera. But the passion stayed. In 2018, I returned to photography with fresh eyes and an open mind. By 2019, I began shooting, and since then, it’s been a journey of growth, lessons, and unforgettable moments. I started with a @Nikonusa #D3500 and have since worked with various gear. But I’ve learned it’s never about the camera; it’s about the vision, the story, the emotion behind each frame. Over the years, I’ve captured various personalities, like WRema, Chandler Moore, Shallipopi, Travis Greene, Seyi Vibez ,Madame Joyce, Adekunle Gold, Bnxn, Mayorkun, Joe L Barnes. Through it all, my biggest inspiration has been my mom, the loudest cheerleader, and my constant support. She believed in me long before I believed in myself. I love you always, Mom. This isn’t just work. Its purpose.
I’m passionate about capturing more than just images. I love telling real stories through my lens. Photography, for me, is about emotion, connection, and helping people feel seen. I find joy in turning simple moments into something bold, stylish, and unforgettable. Every shoot is personal. Every frame means something.
My favorite part about being a photographer is capturing moments that genuinely evoke emotions in people, whether it’s joy, confidence, or something more profound. I love bringing ideas to life and seeing the way someone lights up when they see themselves through my lens. That reaction means everything to me.
I have curated with @wizkidayo, @davido, @burnaboygram and I’d really love to curate with @raye, @temsbaby, @naomi, @champagnepapi and @feliciathegoat 📸
